Last week, the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) published proposed changes to the rules regulating to towing of motor vehicles, which could significantly impact community associations. CAI published a Call to Action, asking members to take filing comments with the Public Utilities Commission. Comments must be submitted by February 11th through the Commission’s Electronic Filing System. In addition, a hearing on the proposed rules is scheduled for March 11, 2013 at 9:00 at the Commission Hearing Room located at 1560 Broadway, Suite 250 in Denver. Associations, managers or managing companies are encouraged to attend and testify.
