On September 12th, Altitude Community Law kick-started this year’s season of giving with the 5th Annual Community Can-Can Canned Food Drive and Sculpture Challenge.  Altitude Community Law partnered with eight teams from community association management firms across Colorado, competing in an event that resulted in a whopping donation of 31,667 pounds of food. Our combined efforts will enable Food Bank of the Rockies to provide over 26,000 meals to families across Colorado.

The structures were judged by the Arvada Fire Department, BEC-POS and The Food Bank of the Rockies, with awards given to:

▪ Best Structural Ingenuity: Hammersmith Management, Inc.

▪ Most Artistic Structure & Most Cans Collected: Colorado Management & Associates, Inc.

▪ Best Overall Presentation: Community Management Specialists

The other teams who rocked this event were: ACCU, Inc., Colorado Association Services, MSI, LLC and TMMC Property Management.

We are deeply grateful to all who participated in the event, from the donators, to the can-collectors, to the builders and to everyone else who gave up their time, money, and energy to make this event successful and to help the lives of Colorado families everywhere. What an amazing show of generosity! Looking forward to next year being a greater and grander event, and blowing 2014 numbers out of the water!
