The Colorado Division of Real Estate’s HOA Registration Database is now live and accepting registrations. However, HOAs have a grace period until March 1, 2011 to register online. This grace period was created by the Emergency Rule 4 CCR 725-5 adopted by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. The Emergency Rule provides that all associations are automatically and temporarily registered effective immediately. This temporary registration will expire on March 1, 2011.
The fee for registration with the Division of Real Estate will be $8.95. According to the website, only online payments will be accepted.
Upon request, Altitude Community Law will handle the registration process for our client associations for a low flat fee. Simply contact us at [email protected] or call 800.809.5242 for details.
