Last week the Colorado Senate passed HB12-1237 with limited amendments. The House must now approved the Senate’s amendments which is expected to happen anytime.
One of the amendments approved by the Senate is very beneficial to associations. It clarifies that only written communications among board members that are related to action taken by the board without a meeting are considered records subject to owner inspections. A second amendment mandates that board member email addresses, as well as, physical addresses are considered records of the association.
