We are excited to announce that Damien Bielli has been appointed to serve on CAI’s Amicus Curiae Committee. CAI’s Amicus Curiae Program is an active program that is a vehicle for CAI to educate a court about important legal issues in cases related directly to the community association industry to shape the outcome of matters of importance to community association law. CAI attorney members and members of the College of Community Association Lawyers makeup the membership of the CAI Amicus Curiae Committee. Members of the committee are selected based off their litigation experience as well as, their understanding of legal issues facing community associations. The purpose of the committee is to review requests for amicus curiae briefs, draft briefs and make recommendations to the CAI Board of Trustees. CAI has become increasingly active in reviewing and filing amicus curiae briefs in order to help shape the outcome of matters of importance to community association law.
Congratulations Damien! We look forward to the great work you will provide on behalf of community associations.
