The Northern Colorado Business Report has reported that the University of Northern Colorado intends to launch a new business incubator. The incubator will be aimed at mentoring the owners of new startup businesses in an effort to foster economic development in the area.
The program will assist entrepreneurs throughout Northern Colorado and offer a wide array of consulting services. These services will include, among others, finance and marketing services. The University is currently developing a fee structure for program services which will be offered to startups and established businesses alike. The University is also currently looking for an executive director to lead the incubator. It is anticipated that the program will be launched this spring.
The program will join other Colorado incubator programs that currently exist in Fort Collins, Boulder, and Denver.
