The long awaited passage of HB19-1212 occurred late Friday evening, May 3, 2019, as the session wound down. The final version of HB 19-1212 recreated the manager licensing program for one year. In addition to the one year extension, a stakeholder committee was formed to make recommendations for future revisions to the law. The stakeholders, comprised of managers and homeowners, will meet at least quarterly. The bill is now in the hands of Governor Polis for signature.
