Nobody likes talking about insurance (except a select few), but most will admit it is necessary to have a basic understanding of insurance in the context of common interest communities, how it works, and the legal requirements pertaining to insurance. There may not always be an insurance professional or attorney available when questions come up and understanding the basics is imperative to answering directors’ and homeowner questions.
