This is an in-person class. This class is presented through the City of Greeley, not Altitude Community Law. Register through the City of Greeley by clicking the link above.

This program will focus on three general topics that pack quite a punch and go into detail on the various resources used by boards to govern their communities:

1. Colorado Statutes (CCIOA and the CO Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act and how they apply to associations).

2. Relevant Federal laws (i.e., satellite dishes, emotional support animals and other disability issues, ADA, Housings for Older Persons Act).

3. Governing Documents (Declaration, Articles, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, ARC Guidelines and Policies; how they work and how to amend them).
