GREELEY CITY CLASS: Enforcement or Police Matter?

You get an emergency phone call from an owner about police cars parked in the neighborhood and police officers banging on the neighbor’s door and demands you take care of it.  Or perhaps you get complaints about neighbors running a grow operation out of their unit and a demand that you do something about it.  Sound familiar?  Oftentimes, it is difficult to tell whether a particular situation requires association involvement or a situation that must be left to local authorities to handle.  We will review various real-life situations in this class and go through the necessary analysis to figure out whether the associations have a duty to get involved.
