Delinquencies — Do You Have All Your Ducks in a Row?

Ever since HB 1137 was enacted in 2022, communities have been struggling with collecting delinquencies.  Whether it’s because the process is confusing or because the demand letters do not have all the required language, associations are often told they have to start over with their collection efforts.   In this presentation, we will go through all the steps associations must take before and after a collection account is turned over to legal counsel for collection efforts.  So, if you have ever had to start the collection process from scratch or were told to rewrite a demand letter, plan on attending this class to obtain clarification on the requirements.
