Approximately 20% of Americans live in common interest communities in the United States.  How many of these Americans are satisfied with their homeowners associations?  According to CAI statistics, approximately 64% of homeowners are satisfied with their associations, and 26% of homeowners are neutral.  This only leaves approximately 10% of homeowners that may not be happy with their community associations.  Notwithstanding these statistics, if one were to compile media clips and publications pertaining to HOAs in the United States, positive stories about associations are few (if any), while the vast majority of stories would focus on the “evil” associations kicking little old ladies out of their homes and denying families with sick kids the right to put up playhouses.  So what can we do to rehabilitate the association’s image?  Join us for this class in which we explore different options and ideas for improving the HOA image.

This class is approved for 2 hours of CAM Continuing Education Credit and 2 hours of CMCA Credit.
