Halloween is afoot and so are all the decorations that come with the holidays. Although most communities tolerate decorations in moderation, what do you do when the Grizwolds move into your community and light up their entire house and yard with lights, puking pumpkins, screaming goblins, magical reindeer, and a flashing Santa that are so bright, the neighbors have to keep their blinds closed to keep their sanity? You don’t want to be a Grinch or be accused of discriminating, so how can an association enforce its covenants in a lawful, nondiscriminatory, and non-Grinchy fashion to avoid these types of claims? This session will also focus on drafting enforceable rules when it comes to holiday, and other exterior, décor. With the holidays right around the corner, you cannot afford to miss this class!
This class is approved for 2 hours of CAM Continuing Education Credit and 2 hours of CMCA Credit.
