Illegal and Criminal Activities in Communities – Do Associations have to Get Involved?

What do you do when an owner complains about a neighbor dealing drugs out of their unit, or when there are increased car thefts in the community and residents are demanding the association do something about it?  What about owners who feel threatened by other owners and are in fear for their safety?  At what point, if ever, should the association step in, and how?  For many owners and even boards, it is difficult to draw the line as to when a situation becomes a police matter and when the association is required to do something about it.  This webinar will explore various scenarios in this arena and discuss options for associations to utilize when they receive complaints such as the ones described above.
