Yes, associations are communities where everyone is a neighbor and ideally everyone gets along.  So why can’t meetings occur in a round-table format with everyone politely providing input and holding hands with their neighbors?  Because associations are also nonprofit corporations in the eyes of the law that must comply with corporate formalities set forth in statutes.  And as much as some might want board and membership meetings to be less formal, associations are stuck with a minimum level of corporate formality.  This Webinar will focus on what corporate formalities are required and which ones can be put aside in order to conduct more productive meetings.
