It is fairly common for associations to install cameras in common areas or security gates for the purpose of reducing crime and other types of unwanted activities.  Some associations hire security companies to patrol their communities in an effort to minimize criminal activity, bad behavior, and violations.  However, before taking any of these steps, it is imperative to understand that providing “security” in a community can expose the association to liability and steps must be taken to minimize this exposure.  Join us for this class if you are considering, or may consider in the future, utilizing these types of methods to help protect your community and the residents.

This class is approved for 1 hour of CMCA Credit.

This class is designed for community association managers, if you are not currently a manager please contact our office (contact information below) to see the availability for this class.
