This class is being hosted by the City of Aurora, not Altitude Community Law.
Unfortunately, there comes a time in most associations’ lives when disputes cannot be resolved via conversations or handshake agreements. In these cases, associations are forced to enter the legal arena when it comes to dispute resolution, and attorneys start to throw out terms such as “mediation”, “arbitration”, and “litigation”. But what do these terms mean and what is the difference between them? Are you better off using one over another, and who gets to choose? This webinar will answer these and other questions when it comes to the above terms and provide you with the tools to better understand the processes and what the attorneys may be trying to tell you.
All classes will be held from 6-7:30p.m. at the Aurora City Hall on the first floor in the Aurora Room. Food will be provided. Pre-register with the Housing and Community Services Office at [email protected].
