Membership Meetings: What Can Possibly Go Wrong?

In this session, we will focus on common mistakes with respect to membership/owner meetings because certain mistakes can invalidate decisions made at such meetings, or worse yet, invalidate the entire meeting.  Oftentimes, the mistakes are rooted in failing to send proper notice, while other times, they are rooted in the voting process, or other transaction attempted during the meeting.  For example, are proxies used in all meetings?  What if an owner brings a “homemade” proxy?  Do you allow absentee ballots?
