Choosing Contractors—What Should You Be Looking For?

Whether it’s landscaping contractors for the season or a construction contractor for a major renovation project, boards are expected to review and vet various proposals and decide on what’s in the best interests of the community.  But what does this mean?  Is this the cheapest contract or is it a contractor with the best references?  In this session, we will explore the various criteria associations should look at and learn about pitfalls that often plague associations when reviewing bids.
