To this day, many associations continue to adopt rules and try to enforce covenants that are contrary to state or federal law. Most of the time, these restrictions are adopted with good intentions in mind, but the law doesn’t care and the association are still exposed to liability if they seek to enforce such restrictions.  During this presentation we will examine actual examples of rules and covenants that are problematic and could get an association in trouble.  So plan on joining us if you’ve ever looked at your community’s rules or covenants and wondered.
